ABOUT BRAD GILLMAN

I am an ethical, forward-thinking, strategic and compassionate media relations leader who looks to get involved in social advocacy. I offer help in dealing with hard situations that affect our communities and the mental well-being needs as well. I lead by helping those in need. I have been a media relations lead with Intermountain Health since October 2015. I work with local and national media, managing external communications, events, and partnerships with a strong focus on genomics and precision medicine, crisis communication, mental health, and community health initiatives. I manage several media partnerships in Utah and Nevada. I also manage the media strategy and outreach between Intermountain and the Las Vegas Raiders – where Intermountain is the official health partner for the Raiders. These partnerships involve strategy coordination, crafting talking points, producing written content, building, and maintaining relationships and serving as point of contact. Another strong focus for me has been on community outreach advocacy groups. I co-chaired Utah’s Opioid Community Collaborative Public Awareness Campaign known as “Use Only As Directed,”, Live On Utah suicide prevention campaign as well as being a part of Intermountain’s Community and Subculture suicide prevention workgroup.I was a Co-Chair of the Opioid Community Collaborative Public Awareness Campaign – Use Only As Directed from 20••••20. The campaign is now “Know Your Script.” Member of the Utah Coalition of Opioid Overdose Prevention (UCOOP) working group as Intermountain’s representative. A part of the Utah Public Information Officer Association and certified as a PIO and as in Joint Information Center by the State of Utah. Proud to be a part of the recognition for excellence in Communications in a Major Incident for the COVID-19 response with Intermountain\'s Media Relations Team.
