As a Pre-construction Manager at PCL Construction, I lead the development and implementation of pre-construction services that meet client needs and project goals. Drawing on over 35 years of construction experience, I have successfully maximized communication with Agile Project Management values and Lean Construction principles to increase projects\' speed to market while ensuring that the project team focuses on the design and budget simultaneously.Prior to this, I was a Chief Estimator at PCL Construction for over 6.5 years, where I led the Calgary-based Estimating and Construction Risk Management department for Southern Alberta. I was responsible for the professional development of all team members, providing direction on pre-construction efforts, and developing and maintaining sound estimating best practices. I also have experience as an Estimating Manager at OEC Industrial Project Services Ltd, where I managed the estimating team in the development and presentation of oil and gas estimates. I hold a diploma in Architectural Technologies from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
