Celtic Sea Power seeks to accelerate and streamline the development of marine renewable energy in the Celtic Sea by developing enabling infrastructure to support future innovative offshore projects, whilst unlocking future marine renewable energy aspirations in wave energy and green hydrogen production. My current role as Project Manager in the Zonal Planning Team involves managing consent processes and stakeholder engagement for the Celtic Sea’s renewable energy sector, leading to the successful submission of consent applications for strategically enabling infrastructure. This has included building relationships with stakeholders and communities impacted by major infrastructure projects. By facilitating two-way engagement, I have been able to inform design, share information, manage expectations, and secure project support, thereby advancing CSP’s work. I oversee all CSP procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Public Procurement Regulations, and have effectively contracted and managed suppliers to deliver geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental surveys supporting the design and EIA of both onshore and offshore electrical and green hydrogen infrastructure. I served as Project Manager for the Milford Haven: Hydrogen Kingdom project, leading the preparation of all necessary consenting and planning documents, working closely with external advisors. I also coordinate workshops with stakeholders and regulators to support the ongoing development and acceptance of standards for regional characterisation and impact assessment of various projects. Additionally, I represent CSP on the Pembroke Dock Marine (PDM) Project Board.
