I am the product manager for edX Studio. As part of 2U, edX has connected over 81 million people worldwide with online learning that delivers real professional progress across nearly every career discipline, from artificial intelligence and robotics to sustainability and public health. The edX part of 2U offers what are called Open Courses. Users can take low cost Open Courses (or audit for free) while the edX platform lowers customer acquisition costs for other 2U offerings such as Bootcamps, Exec Ed, and Degrees. Studio is where all authoring happens for edX. I have led one full team (six engineers) and one half team (three engineers) while also working with two senior UX designers. I have led agile ceremonies that include Sprint Planning, Pre-Refinement, Refinement (aka Grooming), Daily Standups, Sprint Review, Demos, and Sprint Retros. The goals and objectives for Studio have included 1. increasing the number of new courses on the platform by 30% year over year; 2. making it easier to author on the platform (required a significant level of technical knowledge in 2022); 3. enabling content re-use; 4. enhancing authoring efficiencies. Our team has - Increased number of new courses by 30% year over year in 2023- Built a Course Authoring Public API to enable programmatic course creation, which will lead to 150 new courses from GoogleCloud- Rolled out the three new editors that account for 90% of editing on the platform (text, problem and video) to make content creation easier/more intuitive (no longer requires technical knowledge)- Enhanced authoring efficiency through various bulk actions and UX enhancements (the number one complaint of partners)-Rolled out our Accessibility Checker so that users can easily check their content for accessibility issues. This lowers legal risk and improves QA time for partners-Prioritized building a tool for SCORM Connect, which will enable 25-50 new courses from Linux on the platform

Select Achievements- Increased number of new Open Courses by 40% in 2023 -Rebuilt the three primary editors that account for 90% of editing on the platform (text, problem and video editors) to make content creation easier and more intuitive (no longer requires technical knowledge) while also increasing engineering efficiency- Built the Course Authoring Public API MVP, which is an example of taking a feature from zero to one, and should lead to explosive growth in terms of number of new courses from Enterprise partners in 2024 and | Mobile Hybrid Applications | SQL | R | Tableau| Ionic Framework | SPSS | Google Analytics | Microsoft Office spent my career building systems — as a startup co-founder, product leader, and now in edtech. Recently, I started working with 1:1 business coaches who sell $3k–$10k programs and noticed the same issue over and over: deals don’t die on the call — they die in the follow-up. I now build lightweight AI-driven follow-up systems that turn real sales conversations into personalized next steps — without coaches having to rewrite emails or chase me b••••••••@gmail.com
