About Brad Bichey

I’m a surgeon and the CEO of Nemedic, building AI infrastructure for procedural healthcare. After years in the operating room, one thing became clear to me: the biggest barriers to care are not clinical—they’re operational. Referrals get lost, patients fall through the cracks, and surgeons spend too much time navigating administrative systems that were never designed for surgical care. Most healthcare software asks surgeons to adapt to the software. Nemedic is built the other way around. While many companies add AI features on top of legacy workflows, we’re building the infrastructure layer that coordinates procedural care: Demand for Care → Nemedic → Surgery Our goal is simple: ensure the right patient reaches the right surgeon at the right time. Through AI-first surgical practice models, we help organizations automate the operational work around surgery—patient qualification, scheduling, documentation, and care coordination—so surgeons can focus on delivering life-changing procedures. I believe the next generation of healthcare organizations will be AI-native, designed from the ground up to support human expertise rather than burden it. My mission is to help surgeons spend more time doing what they trained for—operating—and help more patients access the care they need.
