   As Principal and Owner of Becker Properties, Brad Becker has been successful in the shopping center investment and development business for over 25 years. Mr. Becker formed Becker Properties with the sole intention of focusing on retail commercial real estate. He is actively involved in all aspects of the company including negotiation, construction and financing for all projects.Prior to forming Becker Properties, Mr. Becker Co-founded Heslin Becker Properties in 2004. He was responsible for all acquisition and development activities for the firm and approval of all proposed transactions. Becker held direct responsibility for all due diligence, engineering, site planning, leasing, financing and construction activities for the company.Before forming Heslin Becker Properties, Mr. Becker was the owner of Retail Holdings, a retail development company. Retail Holdings’ success rested in their unique ability to form extensive relationships with expanding retailers. Since 1997, Retail Holdings developed more than 40 shopping centers throughout Southern California.Prior to forming Retail Holdings, Mr. Becker founded Retail Properties Group, a highly successful retail leasing firm, which he sold in Over the course of Mr. Becker\'s ownership, the company handled more than 500 leasing transactions with valuations exceeding more than $750 million.Mr. Becker is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
