As an IT Audit Partner at Group 1 Solutions, I leverage my 20+ years of experience in audit and compliance to help organizations comply with compliance requirements and prepare for external audits. My focus is on helping clients develop sustainable, efficient, and effective controls program and have successfully done so across a variety of frameworks, such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act, SOC1 and SOC2, COSO, COBIT, and PCI DSS.At Group 1 Solutions, we are passionate about delivering practical and effective solutions for our clients\' IT risks and controls. We help our clients optimize their IT compliance programs, reduce their internal and external audit costs, identify and remediate data security issues, and train their staff to manage their compliance initiatives. We also communicate clearly and frequently with our clients, ensuring that they are always informed and satisfied with our work. Some of our recent achievements include: Reducing SOX controls programs by 20% to 40% for several clients, resulting in significant savings and efficiencies. Discovering and fixing data security issues for SOC 1 / SOC 2 clients that would have led to negative audit findings and reputational damage. Educating clients\' staff on how to internally handle their compliance projects, reducing their future reliance on external consultants.These results were achieved because our clients receive close attention from highly experienced auditors. We take great care to keep control structures lean by ensuring all controls are driven by risks and objectives.
