This position is a part-time Graduate Assistantship with the Center for Academic Excellence, at Mississippi State. Continued Enrollment consists of Bulldog Rebound and Bulldog Bounce Back, the university’s student retention programs that work with two different cohorts of academically struggling undergraduate students. The programs focus on building relationships with participants and helping them establish the academic behaviors and life skills identified with collegiate success. Both programs require students to enroll in a specific LSK course and meet consistently throughout the semester with the programs\' respective coordinators.My position includes meeting with students one-on-one, working at a teaching assistant for a one-hour follow-up class for those students who choose to participate in the summer Bulldog Rebound program, overseeing work done by the Bulldog Rebound Student Guides, and any other tasks deemed necessary by the Director of Continued Enrollment, Bulldog Bounce Coordinator, or the Executive Director of the Center for Academic Excellence.
