About Brandon Peoples
Joining the oil and gas industry in this day and age is exciting in terms of the current technology available and how companies must plan for the future. As a Wells Engineer I have been able to gain experience learning about well project scoping and the overall upstream process. Additionally, I have been able to refine my technical skills in well control, well design, and all things relevant to intervention operations. I have found my offshore rig engineer roles to be a great learning opportunity by seeing daily operations first hand, understanding how AND why we do our work. During my time at Rice, I was able to pursue a minor in Engineering Design which has allowed me to work on multiple client-based projects. As a result, I have been able to implement my technical skills in engineering (prototyping, 3D printing, microcontroller work) with my passion for being a problem solver. Not only were these projects my favorite part of my educational career, but they taught me very much about project management, budgeting, and leading people.
