   As the only physician on our team, I wear a lot of hats and cover much more than my own territory. The majority of my efforts center around developing education on our products and the underlying physiology and processes with which they are interacting. I serve as a medical liaison and peer to peer source of expert opinion on wounds and skin conditions as well as the products and treatments available and useful for them. I lecture on a national scale to physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs, and many other levels of providers on best practices within the range of post acute treatment environments. I have developed wound care and skin care training modules for some of the largest nursing home chains in the US. My team and I develop and update best practice guidelines yearly for skin care and wound care based on the best practice recommendations of international medical consensus bodies such as NPIAP, ISTAP, IWII, and WOCN. I also have many other responsibilities such as inservicing medical staff on products/guidelines, lecturing to the clinical and sales staff at Medline on various topics, and consulting with our product development teams on upcoming products.
