Mr. Parekh is a complex litigation attorney with extensive experience in consumer, drug & product liability, and securities, class and mass actions, shareholder derivative actions, antitrust litigation, and complex business litigation, resulting in recoveries to plaintiffs and class members in excess of 350 million dollars. Mr. Parekh also has an extensive technical background in computer science and electronics, allowing him to quickly and readily understand the complicated issues associated with not just the factual underpinnings of litigation against technology companies, but also the issues raised by the need to locate, search, and process the vast amounts of electronically stored information needed for modern discovery.Mr. Parekh has been appointed as lead, co-lead and liaison counsel in numerous cases in these fields, including most recently being appointed as sole lead counsel in the Oreck MDL in the Central District of California, to the PSC in the Benicar MDL in the District of New Jersey, to the PEC in the Bair Hugger MDL in the District of Minnesota, to the PSC in the Abilify MDL in the Middle District of Florida, to the PEC in the Valsartan MDL in the District of New Jersey, and to the PEC in the Zantac JCCP in the Alameda Superior Court in California. Mr. Parekh\'s work on behalf of plaintiffs and class members has been commended by numerous jurists, including most recently by the Hon. Audrey B. Collins who found that the eventual settlement in a complex financial class action led by Mr. Parekh, which included an appeal to the United States Supreme Court, was an \"outstanding result [that] represents the expertise, skill, and tenacity Plaintiff\'s Counsel.\"Mr. Parekh is regularly invited to speak on issues related to class and mass litigation, and particualry on issues related to the searching, retrieval, and review of ESI. Mr. Parekh has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer, and has consistently been selected as a Southern California SuperLawyer year after year.Mr. Parekh has been admitted to practice in the State of California since 1995. Mr. Parekh is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, and numerous federal appellate and district courts.
