ABOUT BOYD MILLER

My purpose is simple “Help others to help themselves to deliver the results they need to succeed”.When I say others, I refer to individuals and teams; when I say help, that’s as a leader, manager, coach, friend, and human. I’m currently a senior leader in Anglian water, and I’ve been leading successful teams for over 14 years. I enjoy working in environments that allow you to smile, provide that sense of purpose and inspiration, where you can be collaborative and open, that are progressive and foster continuous improvement, that allow personal development and growth, and of course deliver results; so that’s exactly the environment I create for my teams. I create the direction, provide the challenge, support and energy for my teams, and when success happens, you’re left wondering if it’s because of your approach or if they just did it themselves!Over the years, I’ve led numerous projects and programmes of work within the Asset Management sector including feasibility, hydraulic modelling, asset planning and digital twinning; with individual projects valued at up to £15M. I’ve worked in both client organisations and Alliancing environments and enjoy both models of operation.To continue to excel and perform, everybody should have access to a coach or mentor to bring out the true potential that resides in us all; there’s a reason why all professional athletes have one! This is one of my key strengths and passions and working with people, teams and projects, I believe it to be a cornerstone to business success.
