   Deployed data science application that predicts fraudulent claims; built an end-to-end data science pipeline that involved training a model on existing labeled data, building a web application that makes API calls to the data provider and displays, in real time, the probability that an incoming claim is fraudulent- Predicted rider retention using data sourced from a ride-sharing company based in San Francisco, using the gradient boosting classifier; relied heavily on feature engineering to address leakage- Built machine learning algorithms in Python every day for three months, thereby learning the mechanics and intuition underlying algorithms such as Boosting, Random Forest, and SVM- Developed scalable solutions to consume data sets of varying size through distributed computing technologies, such as AWS, Spark, MapReduce.
