About Boyd Overman

What drives me is seeing others find success and fulfillment in their work. I believe in a strong balance between owning and being accountable for results while creating an environment where people want to come to work each day. I have been told I can see the big picture and assess the needs of organization while connecting with team members on their day-to-day activities. Having spent time in-house on two different occasions, coupled with multiple field-based sales and leadership roles it provides me with a well-rounded perspective.My favorite quote from Simon Sinek, is “Stand for people. Not a product or service or metric or number. If we stand for real, living, breathing people, we will change the world”. I believe this. If we have genuine intent for the people and patients we serve, success will follow. To have a solid business strategy is critically important. To have a solid people strategy is equally important. When we get that part right, we are ahead of the game and we elevate our chances of success. In my work and personal life, I strive to be better than I was yesterday with a fire that burns to find the best version of myself. While I feel like no one ever “gets there”, the challenge of that journey is what wakes me up each day ready to go. After two plus decades in this business, that fire still burns brightly. I am fulfilled in the work that I do and by people I engage with daily. My hope is that the people on my team truly find what fulfills them. From there I say dare to be great; what do you have to lose?
