WORK HISTORY
Senior Trial Attorney @U.S. Department Of Labor
Kansas City, MO, US
As a Trial Attorney with the DOL - Office of the Solicitor, I provide legal service and counsel to the Department regarding a variety of labor and employment issues including temporary, non-immigrant visa compliance (H-1B, H-2A, H-2B, and J-1), the FLSA, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Davis-Bacon Act, related to numerous industries, such as construction, technology, carnival, hospitality, and agriculture. Specifically, my practice encompasses the representation of the Wage and Hour Division as part of ongoing wage recovery and regulatory compliance litigation in both federal and administrative courts of law. In order to efficiently and effectively represent the Department, I provide post-investigation legal guidance, and enforce federal statutes and Department regulations through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit, discovery, motions practice, and trial. My job duties with the Department further require me to liaise directly with other governmental agencies and Department staff regarding regulatory findings, statutory compliance, regulatory interpretation, and the development of best practices on a broad range of issues, including but not limited to back wage procurement, debarment, and criminal referrals to the OIG.
