As an Analytics Engineer at Spotify, I support Data Scientists by developing high fidelity data models and pipelines for Podcast Ads, one of the fastest growing and innovative segments of the company. I leverage my skills in DBT, BigQuery, Python, Scala, Data Science, and Big Data Analytics to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for the business.I have a strong background in economics and data science, having completed a Data Science Diploma from BrainStation, a Certificate in Data Science from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I also have a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Financial and Business Economics from York University. My education has enabled me to apply rigorous analytical methods and frameworks to various domains and challenges.I am passionate about using data to tell stories and create impact. I have won the Top Impactful Award at the IIEP UNESCO Education Planning Hackathon, where I worked as one of the two data scientists on a team that developed a dashboarding tool for education planners in Africa.
