Hello, I\'m Bowen! I serve as the active Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Alexy Metals. We specialize in the distribution and manufacturing of high-purity gold and silver brazing alloys and custom brazing preforms in full accordance with the highest global quality standards. Alongside our commitment to supplying our customers with the “World’s Best” brazing alloys, Alexy Metals has fully capitalized on the circular economy of precious metals with a state-of-the-art chemical refining operation for the recovery of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. Our focus on recovering precious metals from brazing alloys and brazed components makes Alexy Metals the ONLY full-service braze alloy distributor servicing the aerospace, electronics, HVAC, power generation, and medical industries.Beyond my work in the metals industry, I’m deeply involved in early-stage angel investing. As the Co-Founder of BowFin Capital, I focus on identifying and backing some of the most innovative startups in the world. My investment journey started when I became a Series Seed angel investor in dub, a groundbreaking stock trading platform, after being invited as a podcast guest to speak about the precious metal markets.I’m a Cum Laude honors graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business, with a marketing major and a professional sales minor, earning a 3.67 GPA. I was involved in several organizations across campus and even worked a hybrid role while at school with Alexy Metals as Director of New Media. I received eight Dean’s List recognitions for all the semesters I attended the University, and in 2021, became one of the youngest representatives at the IBSC Conference. In 2022, I traveled to Puerto Maldonado, Peru, on a philanthropic trip, studying gold mining practices with the Artisanal Gold Council and working to improve miners\' conditions. In December 2023, I was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), earning certificates in foundational leadership.My efforts, philanthropy, and growth as a young professional earned an article feature from Cleveland\'s \"The News-Herald\" and being named “Ohio’s Finest Citizen” by Senator Jerry C. Cirino. I noticed the potential for copy-trading to disrupt retail investing after a podcast guest appearance with \"dub Advisors\" at dub\'s New York City headquarters.I joined the ranks of world class venture capital firms, angel investors and executives including:Tusk Venture Partners, Slow Ventures, Neo, Scribble, K5 Global, Alumni Ventures, Graph, and Dorm Room Fund, The CEO of Uber, a Co-founder of Robinhood, the COO of Coinbase, Former Smith Barney (Now Morgan Stanley) CEO, Rocket Companies Chairman & Cleveland Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert and many other influential leaders in the tech and finance industry.In May 2025, dub successfully raised a $30mm Series A round for the company, co-led by Notable Capital and Neo.
