ABOUT GEOFFREY BOUTIN

I help organisations turn data, analytics, and GenAI into measurable business outcomes. I’m a data scientist by training and a consultant by practice. I bridge technical teams and business leaders to design the right solutions, build them pragmatically, and drive adoption.Over the past 10+ years, I’ve led analytics and AI initiatives across consulting and technology environments. My work spans strategy and value case development through to hands-on delivery. Including data engineering, modelling, experimentation, and productisation. I’m often brought in as the “translator”, aligning stakeholders, clarifying the decision that needs improving, and turning that into a scalable product or capability.Today, my focus is building and scaling AI-powered procurement technology. From supplier and market intelligence to contract and spend analytics, should-cost insights, and workflow assistants embedded into day-to-day sourcing and category management. I work across the full CAIO agenda: setting strategy and prioritising the portfolio, strengthening data and platform foundations, and ensuring responsible AI, governance, operating model, and adoption.
