Eric Olden, a serial entrepreneur and accomplished technical founder, with more than 25 years of identity industry experience and a track record of creating identity management markets and multiple exits. As the co-founder and CEO of Strata Identity, Eric is a recognized pioneer in the field of identity management, driven by a passion for enabling people to simply and securely access applications and data on any cloud, using any identity provider.Driven by the complexities enterprises face in managing identities across multiple clouds, he envisioned the Maverics Identity Orchestration platform as the way customers could modernize their identity infrastructure by decoupling apps from identity using a distributed, multi-cloud-native air-gap architecture that can secure apps anywhere on any cloud.Eric\'s expertise serving the enterprise was honed during his time at Oracle, where he identified the critical need for more agile identity management solutions. This insight led to the development of Maverics, where he envisioned bringing abstraction and orchestration to identity management.Today, Maverics is the leading identity orchestration platform that enterprises around the world rely on to secure and integrate applications, identity and users. And the CNCF’s Hexa policy orchestration simplifies multi-cloud policy governance.Eric is an innovator of identity standards. As coauthor of SAML he helped introduce federated identity to the market. And as the coauthor of Identity Query Language,(IDQL) he is enabling policy and governance.Before Strata, Eric led Oracle\'s global identity and security division, overseeing identity for Oracle\'s cloud, SaaS apps, and enterprise identity software. As the founder and CEO of Symplified, the first IDaaS SSO company (acquired by RSA), and founder and CTO of Securant/ClearTrust (acquired by RSA), Eric has been at the epicenter of identity in the enterprise across 3 generations of identity- from Web Access Management to SaaS SSO and now multi-cloud identity orchestration. Eric holds multiple patents in identity management and cybersecurity.Under his leadership, Strata earned recognition as a two-time Inc Magazine \"Best Places To Work,\" boasting employee retention rates and net promoter scores that are among the highest in the industry.A Silicon Valley native and UC Berkeley graduate, Eric now resides with his family outside Boulder, Colorado, embodying the intersection of technological innovation and visionary leadership.
