As a junior at Cal State Fullerton pursuing an International Business degree, I\'m driven to create positive change through meaningful work that helps others. Sports have been the foundation of my personal growth and an outlet of self expression, shaping my leadership style and collaborative abilities through my roles as captain of both lacrosse and water polo teams in high school.I started lacrosse later than most as a freshman in high school when the program itself was brand new. Learning the game alongside my teammates, we built our culture from scratch, pushing each other to improve both on and off the field. Earning the role as Captain allowed me to strengthen that foundation by overseeing team communication and mentoring younger players, setting goals that would ensure our long-term success and foster a competitive yet supportive environment.Water polo presented different challenges as one of the world\'s most physically demanding sports. It taught me to think calmly under pressure, developing my discipline and problem-solving skills when quick decisions matter most. As captain, I kept the team organized and united, further refining my approach to leadership.These experiences continue to shape me in college. I currently captain the Cal State Fullerton lacrosse team, where I lead practices, support player development, and help maintain our team culture. Beyond athletics, I serve as Associate Member Counselor for Delta Chi, an executive board position focused on guiding and retaining new members. This role demands clear communication, mentorship, and conflict resolution while creating an environment where new members feel genuinely supported and connected.These experiences shaped the way I approach teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving, reinforcing the mindset I now bring into my academic and professional pursuits.
