About Ishan Bose
I love to solve hard problems, especially when the odds are stacked against my team. In 2018 I developed a fraud liability shift strategy and deployed it in 2 weeks - boosting client revenues by over $2 million while earning over $ 400K for my firm. In 2021 I am managing the risk management feature build for Apple Card Family Plan and GM BuyPower Card, each under competing priorities from teams and in less than 4 months. Prior to my current role I was in charge of developing new data products for Accertify, and worked as a data science consultant - helping Fortune 500 companies implement e-commerce risk models and strategies in their transaction flow. I developed bespoke solutions to address unique business risk for different geographies and also trained client analysts.I started my career building Machine Learning models to predict fraud risk, and quickly moved into developing ring identification algorithms and industry/consortium models.
