ABOUT BORNA BONAKDARPOUR
I am a neurologist investigator. I care for individuals with neueocognitive disorders and dementias. My research is focused on mechanisms of language breakdown in stroke and neurodegnerative diseases such as Alzheimer\'s with a long term goal to use to design novel interventions to improve aphasia. I also direct the Northwestern Music and Medicine Program which focuses on providing clinical music interventions, research, and education of music-based interventions. As an academic educator I serve as the Deputy Director of Cognitive Neurology Fellowship and I lead resident and student education in the department of neurology.
