Waypoint was founded in 1850 and serves, annually, about children and their families, statewide. Its mission is to empower people of all ages through an array of human services and advocacy. Responsible for program planning and development, insuring that Waypoint meets the community needs. As President and CEO I am responsible to advance the public profile of Waypoint by developing innovative approaches and building productive relationships with government, regional and national constituencies. In partnership with Development staff and the Board of Directors, design and implement all fundraising activities, including cultivation and solicitation of key individuals, foundations and corporations. In this role I am responsible for all aspects of financial planning, sustainability and oversight of Waypoint\'s assets.
