About Tamir Borensztajn
I’m the founder of WyderNet, an intelligence layer for academic knowledge delivery. WyderNet enables institutions to context-aware match and deliver trusted scholarly content directly into courses and research workflows by understanding what students and researchers are actively working on and surfacing relevant resources at the moment of need. After years in the scholarly information ecosystem, I saw a persistent gap. Institutions invest heavily in content and expert curation, yet many systems remain built around static pages and manual publishing. This makes it difficult to contextually align resources with real coursework and research at scale, or to measure their impact in practice. WyderNet addresses this by enabling proactive, context-aware matching and delivery of curated scholarly resources, extending expert judgment without increasing manual effort.Libraries play a foundational role in this shift, anchoring trust, quality, and governance as learning and research increasingly move through AI-mediated interfaces. I’m currently building WyderNet with academic libraries and higher education institutions as we bring the product to market, focused on scalable delivery, workflow alignment, institutional impact, and responsible AI adoption. I’m always open to conversations with librarians, educators, technologists, and investors thinking seriously about the future of learning and research.
