About Ben Bachus

After five years serving as Engineering Manager for Jacobs in Phoenix, starting August 2025 I have taken on a new challenge: developing engineers. Everyone understands the value of career development. But having a framework that actively helps employees drive their careers, and applies across engineering disciplines, continents, and levels of experience takes focused time, collaboration, and a passion. I’m excited to see what difference i can make.The last 19 years with Ch2M Hill/Jacobs as a Mechanical Engineer and people manager I\'ve been leading teams and doing professional engineering work for a variety of clients - industries (electronics, datacenter, semiconductor, aerospace, consumer products), municipalities (water, wastewater, infrastructure), and the environment (soil remediation, groundwater remediation). Prior to Ch2M Hill, I spent 5 years as a manufacturing engineer designing equipment for production lines and reducing product costs through lean principles and efficiency.Whether it is a part of my professional responsibilities or just an apparent need, I always step forward to take responsibility and manage the projects I am involved with to ensure quality and a profitable solution.
