Being a technical subject matter expertise wherever required.Expertise in installing, configuring, migrating, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security, failover and workload management of web and application servers in all Windows servers.OS Troubleshooting (Memory dump, event viewer, RCA, security, Registry).Join the Production Support emergency calls and resolve priority 1 and 2 incidents.Work and resolve priority 3 and priority 4 incidents.Troubleshooting issues at all layers of the stack: Network, Database, Server, Application, External Services, etc.Primary person to drive Major Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective / Preventive Actions.Perform RCA, provide workarounds & permanent fix to ensure business continuity. Lead problem management effort to alleviate recurring issues.Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents.Create & review processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Configuring and administering Windows based applications (IIS, SQL.Net etc.)Setup and Configuration of IIS 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5, IIS 8.0 & 8.5 like creating websites, application pools, virtual directory & etc.Deploy new versions of the applications to production environment.Coordinate patching activities.Monitor batch jobs and ensure batch jobs are completed as per the scheduled time.Monitor logs and respond to the alerts.Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders.Work closely with Development, QA and Product teams to support and resolve all application issues.Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis.Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys.Work on the service improvement programs. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. Train and Mentor new/existing team members.
