About Bonnie Choi

I am a producer with over 10 years of experience in film and content production. As the producer and head of production at Studio Matter, a film production company in New York, I successfully oversaw the creation of hundreds of works of original content, including brand film series, branded and digital marketing content and advertisements for global clients. This involved coordinating, executing, and supervising all logistics and on-site management for pre-production, production, and post-production. My strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and business judgement were essential to the outstanding completion and delivery of these projects. In addition, I have experience with various camera systems including Arri and Red as well as grip/lighting packages, and I have worked with a wide network of vendors and crew. I managed the productions with budgets totaling over $1 million through the years, many of which included sensitive locations such as Grand Central Terminal, the MTA subway, Central Park and various other landmarks in the tristate area. Prior to working at Studio Matter, I worked as a marketing director for the agency organization after my graduation from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Master’s Degree in Art Market Management. I also worked as a producer on several productions including a feature film and various advertisements, and I have experience working in art galleries and museums in New York

   Created and produced over 80 films in formats that include branded content, advertising, seasonal campaigns, digital content, and documentaries for leading global brands in lifestyle, fashion, and beauty categories including P&G, Samsung, Sephora, Ulta, Fenty Beauty, Kohler, Jack Nicklaus, Winky Lux, Caudalie, Skinfix, ASPCA, Lagos, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, Dr. Brandt Skincare, VERB Hair Care, etc. Coordinated, executed, and managed the entire logistics and on-site management for pre-production, production, and post-production of Studio Matter. This has included —developing and creating concepts, scripts, and storyboards — planning and executing project budgets and accounting ranging from $50K to $1M — coordinating production schedules and timelines — acting as the primary liaison for clients, cast, agencies, vendors, and crew — drafting runs of show and shot orders and leading the workflow on set — scouting locations and securing permits — recruiting and overseeing crews — casting lifestyle and high-profile talent, models, and artists — overseeing art, set, HMU and wardrobe — planning and executing equipment rental— selecting catering services and planning meals and craft— collaborating with photographers for still shoots — managing payroll, invoices, insurance (COI), and all miscellaneous costs — overseeing post-production, OST, CGI, VFX, music, voiceover, BTS, stills, retouching, and finalizing various specs for deliverables. Developed and managed the entire administration and financial accounting for Studio Matter. Working with new and existing client relationships — creating and executing the company’s website, portfolio, presentation materials, business plans, marketing and outreach strategies — managing the company’s websites, financial records on Quickbooks, statistics of Google analytics, bank accounts, credit card statements, LLC tax reports — posting and monitoring the company’s social media accounts
