WORK HISTORY
President @Njcape - New Jersey Council For American Private Education
Trenton, NJ, US
In service to NJCAPE, I advocate for New Jersey’s nonpublic school community, advancing equitable access to funding, services, and policy protections for nearly non-public school students in more than 600 private schools.I lead legislative and policy efforts in Trenton by working in partnership with lawmakers, state agencies, and aligned organizations, with a focus on priorities such as school security, transportation, nursing, and auxiliary services. At the national level, I represent New Jersey through engagement with the Council for American Private Education (CAPE), contributing to federal policy discussions and ensuring the state’s perspective is reflected in the broader education landscape.I also work to unify and strengthen a diverse coalition of faith-based and independent schools, while communicating the value, impact, and cost-efficiency of nonpublic education to policymakers and the public.

Her professional expertise and research is centered in experiential learning and adult learning, with a focus in program initiation and integration. During her years in the classroom, Bonnie taught English, Multimedia Production, Film Studies, Journalism, and Leadership.
