As Director of the Small Business Lending division of Baltimore Community Lending, I am helping to create, fund, and design a new financing opportunity for startup and emerging entrepreneurs in underserved Baltimore neighborhoods. With a unique approach to access to capital, I am organizing and implementing a program bringing together government agencies, area banks and foundations, small business lenders, business counselors and trainers, colleges and universities, and community advocates to make small business loans to entrepreneurs who don’t qualify for traditional lending.
