About Bonita Baxter
With over 14 years of experience in education, health, and social services, I am a passionate and skilled professional who works across diverse cultural, ethnic, and geographical groups promoting diversity and inclusion. My mission is to use my expertise in language, literacy, and sociocultural studies, as well as my background in Native American studies, to facilitate learning, awareness, and empowerment among students, faculty, staff, and others. I also leverage my experience as a consultant, teacher, counselor, and social worker to provide workshops, lectures, and trainings on Native American games, culture, and history, as well as substance abuse prevention and wellness.
