As a global health consultant, I assume key accountability for leading technical cooperation to enhance capacity building for the Integrated HIV/AIDS Project in Haut-Katanga/Democratic Republic of Congo funded by PEPFAR/USAID, strengthening bi-directional referral system and continuous quality improvement in target sites (hubs) and satellite sites (spokes).I conduct health facility visits to analyze data from first quarter of fiscal year 2020, while collaborating with project managers, facility managers, providers, and some patients to understand the quality of care issues, referral system, and retention.Below is my key achievement that I attained:• Recognized for suggesting on using systemic approach, rapid risk assessment tool for discontinuation that administered by providers during consultation; established a uni-directional messaging patient reminder system and a patient feedback system, resulting in increasing the project patient retention rate from 93% to expected project goal of 95% within 6 months.
