ABOUT BONGANI DLAMINI
As a mining specialist with combined operational (site), research and consultancy experience, I have worked primarily in geotechnical and mining engineering. I am committed to providing high quality and practical technical support that promotes operational improvement, production yield and reduces risks. I began my mining career in 2008 as a mining engineer in the Appalachian Coalfields of West Virginia. During this period I worked in various areas of a longwall underground coal mine operation including production, outbye services and ventilation. I have subsequently held site operational roles in the Australian mining industry across New South Wales and Queensland. I also apply my experience in mining research from working at research organisations in Australia and USA, including the CSIRO. I have flexible and adaptable skills and advanced software competency, which I apply to underground and surface mining projects.
