Roles & Responsibilities:• Responsible for the quality, audit ability and governance of the Logistics processes• Handling STPI, Customs & Central Excise, SEZ & DGFT related formalities and works. • Obtaining necessary documents and permissions from related offices for pre / post clearance formalities of import/ indigenous procured goods. • Following up with vendors, freight forwarders and CHA for clearance of goods.• Providing the figures and related documents of goods procured through STPI to finance for preparing quarterly and annual reports.• Handling documentation work for Bonding, De-Bonding & Re-Export for STPICustoms & Central Excise/STPI:• Liaisoning & maintaining good relationship with officers to ensure timely approvals and bonding of the material • Maintaining the track of bonded material to ensure the 100% compliance in regulatory affairs.• Maintaining the records in a user friendly manner.• Creation of asset numbers to bonded goods and tagging the same for easy identification. Purchase Management:• Procurement of IT / Non IT material from national and international market• Development of alternative local sources for imported IT materials which helps in cost saving• Purchasing machines with improved technology to increase production• Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations• Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory• Follow up on delivery of goods with the vendor for all purchase orders• Coordinating with the end-user and vendor for timely delivery • Distribution of MSA and AMC agreements and follow up for the same• Internal Clients & External vendor management:• First level of escalation for any Internal client matter related to deliveries• Handle the Quantity/Quality matter at initial stage• Escalation point for vendor payment matters working closely with finance for handling the escalations
