In Auto1 I’m part of the Finance team. The finance team is 5 brave software engineers (me included) who support all finance operations when someone buys or sells a car through our platform. We own- 37 golang microservices - 12 JS Lambdas - 6 not-so-micro PHP services - 2 big and scary PHP monolithsApart from creating new features and investigating incidents, as a lead engineer of the team, I - provide my expertise (not only on the team level, but on the company level)- constantly improve our system - mentor less experienced engineers - keep our codebase clean and tidy
