ABOUT BOLA AKINLAWON.

Area of therapeutic expertise- Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology/Immunology IVIG & SCIG infusions, Myastenia Gravis, Primary immune deficiency, and Pain Management, o 12 combined years of clinical practice within hospital, community, and specialty healthcare. • Clinical experience- Worked as a Licensed Pharmacist in conjunction with clinicians, and hospital medical staff to manage directly complexities of pharmaceutical care and therapeutic incompatibilities while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for proper care of post-operative and ambulatory patients. o knowledge of key factors impacting patient outcomes and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) o Cross-functional interaction with healthcare teams to develop and execute patient care strategies (e.g. Drug-Drug Interactions, Adverse Drug Events, Contraindications, etc.) o Developed strong networking with KOLs in the fields of Diabetes, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Pain management including scientific, clinical, and medical experts. o Knowledge of the Medical Science Liaison roles and responsibilities and understand compliance within the Standards for Interactions with U.S. Healthcare Providers, Federal and State promotional laws and regulations, the PhRMA Code, ACCME Standards, and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics • Communication- Experienced speaker with several opportunities of presenting to groups of clinicians, key opinion leaders, pharmacy students, diverse audiences including researchers, physicians, and business stakeholders/entrepreneurs. • Leadership- President of the Midwestern University CCP Alumni Board where I secured funding, organized events, developed policies, and delegated responsibilities to the executive board.
