We have products, growing regions, and the technical ability to adjust our business practices to support our customers. Because we have access to growers in every major growing region, we can move our sourcing as needed to provide the freshest and most flavorful produce available. Proximity to all of the major West Coast growing regions gives us the ability to make adjustments to your order quantities. Commerce, CA Facility and Corporate Office: The main distribution complex is a square foot warehouse with fourteen dock locations utilizing Freon coolers, providing five distinct temperature zones, cooling, and icing capabilities. This facility has specialized re-packing equipment: A 10 channel Affeldt Scale, 13 channel Affeldt Scale, Giro Bagger (28 units per minute), C pack net clipper (36 units per minute), Affeldt carousel bagger (22 units per minute), EDP auto boxer/bagger (200 50lb units per hour), and a Kwik Lok bag closer. In addition to warehousing, storage, and re-pack services, the Commerce facility houses our main administrative, sales, and buying offices. The hours of operation are 11 pm to 1 pm. Villa Transportation Commerce, CA/Great West Produce Company: A logistics company providing transportation services for Great West and its customers throughout the Mid-West. Villa Transport dispatches over 20 trucks a day and brokers an additional fleet to provide overflow and additional delivery services.
