I am currently a Master of Science student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington. I have a strong foundation in software development, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.Currently, I am working on a capstone project with NASA JPL, building a tool called AiSTRA for real time speech to text and agent assisted editing. My work involves writing clean code, solving complex technical problems, and learning about MLOps and large language models. I am actively seeking a Software Engineering internship for Summer 2026 to apply my skills in a fast paced environment.

1. Software Engineer

   NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

   Jan 2026 — Present

   Partnered with NASA JPL for capstone project to build AiSTRA, an artificial intelligence assistant for robotics testbeds. Integrated OpenAI Whisper large v3 turbo for real time speech to text processing and Large Language Models to generate structured notes.Developed the backend architecture using FastAPI and WebSockets. Created a dynamic audio chunking pipeline with Voice Activity Detection to process speech quickly, achieving near real time text streaming. Applied Real Time Systems skills to process live telemetry data.Built the frontend Mission Control Dashboard featuring live speaker diarization and a confidence visualizer. This interactive user interface filters out bad transcriptions and allows operators to easily review and edit information.Used Prompt Engineering to guide Large Language Models in summarizing text accurately. Designed MLOps and DevOps workflows to prepare the entire application for cloud deployment on AWS.
