HIGH-VOLUME PRESCRIPTION TRANSACTIONS | PATIENT CONSULTATION | PATIENT CAREMEDICATION THERAPY MANAGEMENT (MTM)| PRESCRIPTION DISPENSATION INVENTORY MANAGEMENT | QUALITY ASSURANCE | PRIOR AUTHORIZATION COORDINATOR• Operate in a dynamic pharmacist role, handling retail pharmacy processes, operations, and day-to-day responsibilities encompassing administering pharmacy consultation services; dispensing high-volume medication transactions; and entering Rx data into Enterprise computer software.• Conduct all facets of Medication Therapy Management (MTM), facilitate changes to patients’ medication post physician consultation, and effectively bill Medicare.• Distribute medication across various Stop & Shop pharmacy locations via SupplyLogic software to accurately manage pharmacy medication inventory. • Offer data-driven recommendations to improve service deliverables, support nurse practitioners to process prior authorization, assign appropriate medications, and document modifications.• Successfully document and adjust inventory data into the Enterprise Rx and file invoices to meet NJ State Board of Pharmacy and federal laws & regulations. • Accurately process and bill prescriptions to prevent companies from reversing reimbursed amount during comprehensive insurance audits. • Maintain full responsibility for ordering and obtaining medication in an efficient, cost effective, and timely manner to ensure patients’ receive medication in alignment with process, safety, and compliance requirements and specifications. • Sustain up-to-date field knowledge and detailed records of service operations, capabilities, and processes while measuring KPIs and identifying discrepancies to administer continuous process improvements, cost optimization, and service excellence. • Synchronize patients’ medication information by utilizing ‘Time My Meds’ computer software.
