ABOUT BO GARLAND
Bo Garland is an Architect registered and currently practicing in the States of South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas and the District of Columbia. Also holds NCARB certification for reciprocity. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is the past Upstate Regional Director for AIA South Carolina with an emphasis on architecture schools.(20••••09) Past president 2007 of the Greenville Section of the AIA. During his tenure, he instituted a scholarship program for graduate students at Clemson University in the school of Architecture. In April 2008 co-chaired Architecture Month - a month long celebration of architecture including a national traveling exhibit of americas favorite buildings as well as guest lectures and building tours. Patron of the local arts community. Civic involvement includes currently sitting on the committee for the South Carolina Cherokee Heritage Memorial in Greenville, SC This project will include an amphitheater as well as many other teaching opportunities about Native Americans.
