I have a long-standing commitment to and passion for research in the field of education, with a focus on improving educational access, educational equity, learning outcomes and school completion rates of children around the world, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. In my career, I have influenced the field of education by developing modules, coordinating MBA in security management program, implementing and evaluating educational projects sponsored by funding agencies, teaching in the classroom, and tutoring children. I am currently employed as Assistant in Research at the Learning Systems Institute, one of the US’s oldest and most productive university-based education research organizations. I am working on the evaluation of the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship Programs funded by the Florida Department of Education (FDOE).
