In 2003, after 16 years as a Sales Engineer in the Commercial HVAC market, I started Engineered Mechanical Systems, LLC to address the market need for sustainable HVAC systems and to build a customer focused business that would be a responsible citizen to our community and the employees within our firm. Our company quickly became the leading representative, in our market, for innovative and highly efficient HVAC solutions. My experience has allowed me to participate as a past member of the Commercial Advisory Board to the UC Berkley Center for the Built Environment, Co-Chair for the Denver USGBC chapter, Past President of a Custom Air Handler Advisory Board, Member of Xcel Cooling Advisory Board, and committee member of the ASHRAE sustainability committee. Our business has been a team member to some of the most sustainable commercial projects in Colorado. The products we represent have been an integral part of several LEED gold and platinum buildings. I look forward to continuing to play a role in focus our industry is taking to improve the indoor environment and lowering the footprint that we have on our global environment.
