About Bob Nevens

Over twenty years of experience in the risk management and insurance industry. I am a former President of the Cumberland RIMS Chapter. My experience consists of effectively purchasing and negotiating complex insurance renewals and placements for one the nation’s largest for profit healthcare companies, one of the leading academic and research healthcare systems in the country, and one of the nation’s prominent professional employer organizations. These placements include working with captives, self-insured trusts, and large deductible/self-insured retention programs focused around property and casualty lines as well as professional lines. Specialty experience consists of Owner Controlled Insurance Programs, construction liabilities, pollution liability, professional liability, federal coverages, cyber, and executive lines. I have successfully worked complex claims and negotiated contracts with thousands of vendors, contractors, and third parties. I have lead risk management teams and developed successful programs from the ground up. Being in a position of leadership is a privilege and should never be taken for granted.
