ABOUT BOB DETHLEFS

Bob Dethlefs was Founder & CEO of Evanta - which he sold to CEB (now a Gartner company) in May of 2016 for $295 million. Until April of 2017, he was responsible for 200(+) Fortune executive leadership conferences across North America. During his fourteen years leading Evanta, Bob was able to build one of the worlds largest and most respected leadership businesses and he engineered a collaboration network that attracted CXOs from 86% of the Fortune organizations – representing more than $12T in combined annualized revenue. Bob also pioneered and produced the Professional Development Academy with General Colin Powell. The Professional Development Academy became a premier on-line leadership development and mentorship academy that featured over 100 CXOs from Fortune organizations as faculty members. In 2014 he created the CISO Coalition – a member-only community for chief information security officers from Fortune organizations where members came together to share real-time information, insights and best practices to better defend against cyber attacks and cyber crime. The Board Members for the CISO Coalition included the CISOs from: McDonald\'s, Aflac, IBM, Intel, Kellogg\'s, GM, Ford, PepsiCo, Starbucks, ConocoPhillips, Cargill, Nike, and Delta Airlines.In 2009, Bob co-created the Global Sports Summit (held Annually in Aspen, Co) for professional sports team owners. Now in its eight year, the Global Sports Summit is the worlds largest gathering place for owners of professional sports teams. Subsequent to launching the Global Sports Summit, Bob pioneered the Global Sports Management Summit (for CEOs, Presidents and GMs of professional sports teams) and the Collegiate Sports Summit (for D-1 Athletic Directors).Under his leadership, in 2007 and 2009, Evanta was recognized as one of \"The Best 100 Large Companies to Work for in Oregon\", No. 6 and No. 9 respectively, and as the No. 8 \"Fastest Growing 100 Large Companies in Oregon\".
