ABOUT BOB CLEMENT
Former U.S. Congressman Bob Clement serves as President of Clement and Associates, LLC. He is also a Board member of the United States Association of Former Members of Congress. Mr. Clement represented the Fifth Congressional District of Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1988 to 2003 serving 8 terms. Mr. Clement has gained extensive expertise in the areas of transportation, energy and education, and international relations through his years of public service. Prior to his 15 years in Congress, Mr. Clement serviced major roles as a utility regulator - first as a statewide Commission on Tennessee\'s Publice Service Commission, and later as one of three Directors on the Board of the Tennessee Valley Authority, overseeing a $6 Billion utility agency. During his tenure in Congress, Congressman Clement served as a ranking member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Congressman Clement also served on the House Budget Committee for 4 years, and he made global contacts through his work on the International Affairs committee which also enabled him to travel all over the world. Mr. Clement served in the military for 31 years, retiring from the TN. Army National Guard as a Colonel. He served in the U.S. Army prior to his National Guard service.
