Part of the Project Management Office, I have been assigned the responsability to conduct the team working on core services of our e-commerce platform. Micro-services in our team are consumed by all other teams @ nexway.Below, when mentionning \"clients\", I can refer to Nexway\'s customers but also internal stakeholders such as other development teams but not only (accounting, legal.). My role consists in - Anticipating clients\' needs when possible and help the product manager define a proper vision- Gathering requests from CSMs & Bizdevs and making sure those client specific requests can be transform in generic features to benefit all our customers- Writing user stories- Backlog management & priorization, in order to satisfy both internal stakeholders\' and clients when relevant - Overseeing development stages - from grooming animation to post-delivery checks - Sharing progress at each end of stage, with dev team, staleholders, product team and anyone willing to know more of what we do. Working in Agile & Scrum, I am also familiar with Kanban methodology & meetings thanks to other teams and past experiences.

ABOUT BOB CAISLEY

Masters degree in e-commerce, in 2015 at Paris 12 University. In the E-commerce industry since 2013, I have worked in both Customer facing roles and Product Owning/PM positions for over 10 years now.Started as an intern in content management, I quickly grew as a (junior) Product Owner, enabling multiple cybersecurity companies to sell their products online with us. Main challenge was to transform 1-time buyers into long-time subscribers; as in every other business, the model shifted to a point an end-user would not own a consumable anymore but rather be subscribed to a service. Due to a change in company management, I have accepted a Customer Success Manager role for a few years. It is a position that I liked also because it opened my eyes on what was frustrating CSMs when Product Management was not done right. I have managed to quickly learn & adapt to this new position. I have organized reviews, meetings, QBRs, led calls - and clients have always liked the fact i could understand their needs, and were reassured I would be able to easily talk to POs, regarding scoping, estimations & deliveries (as I had some knwoledge from my past position). I recently got back to a PO position, with a more technical team - creating, updating, adjusting, maintaining core services for our e-commerce platform; consumed by every other team in the company. Other teams would then build features on those services, to build a strong e-commerce platform. Now that I spent 3+ years facing clients, I am also able to understand better their needs and wishes, saving me quite some time on writing tickets & fait, je parle nativement Français.
