Hajoca’s Management Development Program is a multi-year, hands-on leadership track designed to prepare individuals to run their own wholesale distribution location as a Profit Center Manager.In this role, I’m learning the ins and outs of operating a business within Hajoca’s decentralized structure. The program includes rotations through key areas such as: • Sales & Customer Service – Working directly with contractors and trade professionals to understand their needs, provide solutions, and build lasting relationships. • Operations & Logistics – Managing inventory, overseeing warehouse processes, and learning how to streamline deliveries and supply chain flow. • Purchasing & Vendor Relations – Coordinating with suppliers, analyzing market trends, and negotiating to maintain profitable margins. • Financial Management – Gaining hands-on experience with budgeting, pricing strategies, P&L statements, and strategic decision-making.Throughout the program, I’m developing leadership, business strategy, and problem-solving skills with the ultimate goal of independently managing a Hajoca Profit Center — responsible for everything from team performance and customer satisfaction to growth and profitability.
