About Bobby Ott
I have served as the Superintendent of Schools for Temple ISD since 2018. TISD has earned statewide recognitions in the areas of academic/technology innovation, leadership (Holdsworth Leadership Academy), financial solvency, student programming, staff retention efforts and business partnerships. Most recently, I have been named the 2022 Texas Superintendent of the Year by the Texas Association of School Boards. For thirteen years I served in the roles of Deputy Superintendent of Copperas Cove ISD, Deputy Superintendent of Killeen ISD and Assistant Superintendent of Temple ISD. Prior to district administration I served in director roles at the Texas Education Agency and the University of Texas System.I am interested in mentoring superintendents, innovative programming, leadership practices and serving urban youth.
