ABOUT BOBBY POYNTER
I currently hold the position of Assistant Store Manager for Heartbreak Running Hill Co in Santa Monica, CA, which is a run specialty retail store. I lead and assist our sales team, daily operations, as well as community driven events and outreach. This role allows me to utilize and strengthen my background in consumer psychology by continuing to explore the ‘how’ and ‘why’ consumers make decisions surrounding running retail.Prior to becoming a store manager, I graduated with Masters in Applied Psychology from USC. This program allowed me to enhance my skills in delivering powerful, data-driven insights. With an emphasis in consumer psychology, I got to better understand the thought processes of consumers, how to leverage data to better target them, and how all of this coincides with broader marketing initiatives.As I continue growing in my current role, I\'m excited to further advance my knowledge in consumer psychology, running expertise, and community outreach!
