I believe our work should line up with the desires of our heart, as well as the values and gifts that we have been equipped to use.In one of his more pungent and humorless quotes, Mark Twain said,\"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you figure out why.\"​My faith tells me that work is from God. Finding our passion starts with examining what we value and enjoy, evaluating our skills, and seeking others to observe our gifts and strengths.And, just because you have a passion to do something now, don\'t assume you will want to do that the rest of your life. We were designed to progressively develop, and we shouldn\'t assume that our desires and passions will remain constant.Steve Jobs has been given credit for the quote,\"Life is too short to be living someone else\'s life.\"​It is true. Finding and working in our areas of passion releases us to do great and significant things.These are my views on leadership:1. Leadership is not a position, its an activity.2. Everyone is a leader, because we all have a sphere of influence that surrounds us.3. Leadership development starts with encouragement from others.4.
