HANDMADE BY YOU is a nonprofit that delivers free art and crafts workshops for seniors, adults and teens to encourage wellbeing by creating art in community. We are part of a Craftivism movement, repairing the world through creating harmonious connection with each other as we experience the joy and fun of creativity. HANDMADE BY YOU is an outgrowth of Joy Factory Gallery/Cinema, the disability arts advocacy nonprofit I founded to produce art and movie mash up events, providing exhibition space for neurodivergent artists and as staff at our pop up shows throughout Los Angeles. THOMPSON MANAGEMENT supports ongoing and completed film and theatre projects of the clients of my artist management business. There is a progression and a passion for working with artists that has not changed for me. My work in the entertainment industry and outside it reflects my passion and dedication to creativity, encouraging and nurturing artists, community engagement, and empowering individuals through the arts.
